    Overview:

    Dripshop seeks a Head of Product with a robust background in product management and a proven ability to work effectively with development teams in India and understand US market nuances. This role is pivotal in driving our product strategy, focusing not only on our core collectible categories like Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and sports cards but also spearheading our expansion into new technical verticals. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader, adept at navigating the complexities of live commerce, and committed to bridging cultural and operational nuances to create impactful, user-centric products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a compelling product strategy that aligns with Dripshop's mission and market opportunities, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the live commerce industry.
    • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration, maintaining a relentless focus on quality and user experience.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams across design, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure product objectives are met, timelines are adhered to, and market expectations are exceeded.
    • Market and User Research: Conduct thorough market research and user analysis to guide product development, ensuring our offerings resonate with current trends and user needs.
    • Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team, fostering an environment of growth, innovation, and excellence.
    • Innovation and Improvement: Champion ongoing innovation and continuous product improvement by leveraging insights from customer feedback, competitive analysis, and technology trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
    • Professional Experience: 8-12 years of experience in product management within the tech industry, including a proven track record of leading the successful launch and growth of consumer-facing digital products.
    • Cultural and Operational Insight: Extensive experience collaborating with engineering and product teams based in India, requiring a deep understanding of both the cultural and operational nuances that impact product development and team dynamics.
    • US Market Expertise: Solid experience and understanding of the US market, having worked in a US-based company with a development team in India, demonstrating an ability to bridge cultural and operational gaps to drive success.
    • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans that drive results.
    • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and managing teams across diverse cultural backgrounds to achieve high performance and meet strategic objectives.
    • UX and Consumer Focus: A strong advocate for user experience and design thinking, with a passion for creating products that meet and exceed user expectations.
